Introduction to Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controller

The configuration data model for the Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controller is designed with best practices in mind, emphasizing reusability, simplified provisioning, enhanced flexibility, and modularization. This approach facilitates effective network management as it scales and addresses the dynamically evolving requirements of business and IT.

Profiles

Its a reusable entities that defines the properties of the AP or Associated Clients which can be used across tags. Default Policy profile, AP Join profile, Flex profile and 2.4/5GHz RF profiles are available by default on the wireless controller at boot time.
